A revision strategy built for ADHD and dyslexic students.

How Accruva turns two days into a complete revision cycle, whether you’re cramming one paper or rotating through five.

1

Import everything

Drop your PDFs, lecture slides, and notes into Accruva, or scan textbook pages with your phone. Eight import formats covered, so whatever the lecturer hands out, you can read it.

2

Pick a reading mode that fits your brain

Focus mode for rapid coverage. Chunking for dense academic prose. ADHD/Zen when attention has you bouncing between tabs. Bold Flow if dyslexia makes long blocks of text harder. Five evidence-backed modes, designed so the format stops fighting your focus.

3

Generate your own study material

One tap turns any document into multiple-choice quizzes. Another into topic-tagged flashcards. Another into a concise summary with key terms extracted. All built from your own course content, not generic study packs.

4

Review with SM-2 spaced repetition

AI-generated flashcards feed straight into the SM-2 spaced repetition engine. The Smart Review dashboard (Pro) targets your weak areas first, so you stop reviewing what you already know.

5

Walk in prepared

You’ve read the material at your pace, tested yourself with quizzes, and drilled the weak spots with flashcards. Two days, the right material, in the order that actually helps it stick.

Your documents become your study tools.

Import any document. Tap once. Get study material generated from your own course content. Free gives you two AI generations per tool a day, plus up to three more per tool via short rewarded ads. Study Cram lifts that to 50 a day.

AI quizzes

Multiple-choice questions pulled from your documents, with explanations for every answer. Specific to what you’re studying, not generic.

I only have 48 hours. Will this realistically help?
Yes, if you follow the order above: import everything, read at your pace, generate quizzes and flashcards from your own documents, then drill the weak spots with SM-2 review. The point isn’t to do more in 48 hours; it’s to spend those 48 hours on the right things.
Will the AI quizzes match what’s on my exam?
The AI generates quizzes from the documents you import, so they match your course content, not the exact exam paper (no AI can do that). If you import the lecturer’s slides, notes, and reading list, the quizzes will test you on the same material the exam is likely drawn from. Garbage in, garbage out applies here: feed it the right material.
I have ADHD or dyslexia. Will it hold up under exam pressure?
It’s the audience the app was built for, and exam stress is exactly the scenario it was designed to handle. ADHD/Zen mode strips distractions out of the reading view. Focus mode pulls one word at a time so your brain can’t wander. Atkinson Hyperlegible (the Braille Institute’s dyslexia-targeted font) and Bold Flow reduce reading friction. The RSVP study for ADHD readers has the full detail.
Free or Study Cram: which one do I need?
Free covers most students: all five reading modes up to 400 WPM, a 20-document library, 20 flashcards and 20 reviews a day, two AI generations per tool a day (plus three more per tool via short rewarded ads), full planner and Pomodoro, every accessibility feature, all 30 badges. Study Cram (£1.99 a week) is for the crunch weeks: 1,000 WPM ceiling, an unlimited library and flashcards, 50 AI generations a day, the full Smart Review dashboard, cloud sync, and ad-free. If you’re juggling multiple papers and need to generate dozens of quizzes a day, Cram pays for itself. If you’ve got one paper and a week, free is plenty.
Can I cancel Study Cram after my exam?
Yes. Cancel anytime through your Google Play account. There’s no refund for the current week (same as any subscription), but no further charges. Some students set a reminder to cancel the day after the exam, which works fine.
Will it work without internet during a study session?
All five reading modes, your imported library, flashcards, the planner, and the Pomodoro timer work fully offline. The AI tools (quiz, flashcard, and summary generation) need an internet connection because they call the model in the cloud. If you’re studying in a library with patchy Wi-Fi, generate your study material before you sit down, then drill it offline.
Does it work for any subject?
Best fit: text-heavy subjects (humanities, social sciences, law, business, languages, biology, psychology). Solid fit: anything where the revision material is mostly prose, notes, and slides. Less ideal: pure equation-based subjects like advanced maths or theoretical physics, where AI quiz generation has less to work with. The reading modes and planner still help for those, but you’ll get more from the AI tools on prose-based content.
