Where does Accruva run?

Accruva is live on Android via Google Play. iOS is launching now (June 2026), with Windows on the roadmap. Payments are handled through Google Play or the App Store, so cancellations and refunds run through your store subscription settings.

Can I switch between Free, Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, and Study Cram?

Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or switch between the paid tiers at any time through Google Play. If you downgrade to Free, your documents, flashcards, and progress stay on your device. Cloud backups stay on our servers as long as your account exists, so resubscribing later picks up where you left off. You simply lose access to Pro features like cloud sync, Smart Review, the 1,000 WPM ceiling, and the higher daily AI allowance.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your documents, highlights, notes, and flashcards stay on your device whether you cancel or not. Cloud-synced backups stay on our servers as long as your account exists. To permanently delete your cloud data, go to Settings → Delete Account inside the app. That wipes everything from our servers immediately.

Why is there a separate £1.99 weekly Study Cram tier?

Because exam weeks and dissertation crunches don’t happen monthly or annually. Study Cram gives you a full week of Pro access for £1.99, auto-renewing weekly until you cancel. Built for students who need the unlimited library, 150 daily AI generations, and Smart Review just for the week of the deadline.

Do the ads on the free tier get in the way?

No ads appear until you’ve completed your first reading session. After that you’ll see a banner and a single post-reading interstitial after you finish a document, never during reading itself. The Pro tiers are completely ad-free, which is a permanent brand promise.

Is there a student or accessibility discount?

No, and intentionally so. The Free tier already gives students every reading mode, every accessibility feature, and most study tools.
